My name is Milan Šveřepa.
I am director of Inclusion Europe.
I write and speak about deinstitutionalisation, and about communication and strategy advocating for rights of people with intellectual disabilities and their families.
In 2017-2019 and 2023 I a was a co-chair of the EEG. Before arriving at Inclusion Europe and Brussels, I worked on deinstitutionalisation and on planning of social care services in Czechia and other countries. For the work on deinstitutionalisation I received the Project Manager of the Year 2013 award in Czechia.
I have (co-)written several publications and for some time gave classes on media relations and social work at a university.
